I mentioned this in my previous post, but it's somewhat buried and now that I've had time to go through some of it, I thought I should 'advertise' it more prominently. It's one of the groups of students from AUW who did summer projects. They investigated, chronicled and wrote about different cultural practices in various locations around South Asia. They set up a blog and it's full of amazing photo galleries (the girls took all their own photos) and write ups. Now that I know how long it takes to upload photos from here, I really respect the amount of work they've put into it! There's a lot of weddings, religious festivals of various origin, art, dance, music, fabrics and textiles, food, etc.
I highly recommend it!
